The CO2 used in the SailStar cleaning process is a recyclable solvent drawn from the atmosphere.  This solvent is non-toxic, non-flammable, and water-soluble with no residual odor.

Unique Cleaning Process

Since no heat is used in any part of the process, cleaning in CO2 is very gentle on all fabrics that are suitable for dry cleaning, including wool, suede and leather garments.  With the unique characteristics of CO2 , mixed loads of different fabrics can be processed together allowing full loads for smooth production and savings on energy costs.  The low surface tension of liquid CO2 also means that it penetrates fabrics quickly and easily.  When combined with detergents that are also designed to be environmentally friendly, the result is a very effective cleaning process that is gentle on the garments and leaves them smelling clean with no residual odor.  And now you can clean those specialty garments such as gowns and leather that cannot be cleaned in a traditional dry cleaning machine.

■Magnetic Coupling Drive -Our unique magnetic coupling drive allows for a turning drum with no shaft to the outside of the machine, thus eliminating any potential
chance for a seal leak and providing smooth operation of the wash cycle.
